The presented
poetry piece “The Snake Trying” has been composed by W.W.E. Ross. The poet has
drawn the authentic picture of the natural law that all living organisms try to
escape death however ferocious. The poem can be summarized in following ways:-
Death Escape Of Snake - According to the poet, once he saw a beautiful
snake. It was being attacked with the stick. The snake tried its best to escape
death. It was very thin with a long body. The snake felt the attack of stick
and witnessed the danger, so it immediately curved its body. The poet admired
its beauty, shape and grace.
Vanished For Safety - In
order to escape death, the snake glided through the water. It passed over the
water and entered the reed.
The poet became happy to see its green color.
The small creature had created love in his mind. He thought that the snake was
harmless to children. It was chased when seen lay on the sand but it vanished
finding itself in danger.
